Private library work

Scanning, metadata display, Office decoding, PDF rendering, and playback occur locally. Clearview does not operate a service that receives these materials.

File capability

Whole-device access is used to provide the advertised broad library browser. Modification is limited to an explicit, confirmed delete request.

Android packages

A package selected for opening is copied to private cache and passed to the operating-system installer through a read-only content URI. Installation remains a visible system-controlled flow.

Data practices

This version has no account, ad SDK, tracking analytics, remote conversion, or telemetry. It therefore does not sell user information.

Saved state

The most recent document path and display choice may remain in local preferences until app data is erased. Temporary transfer files are cache data.
